‘Invite (all) to the Way of thy Lord with wisdom and beautiful preaching; and argue with them in ways that are best and most gracious: for thy Lord knoweth best, who have strayed from His Path, and who receive guidance.’ (Q. 16:125)
The British Muslim Forum (BMF) is here to bring Sunni Mosques, organisations, businesses and individuals together for the greater good.
United in mission and voice, we exist to serve and strengthen the work of the suuni mosques and institutions in our communities and throughout society. Highlighting the significant opportunities and challenges facing our Mosques and organisations today, we work together to resource Muslims so that they are able to act upon their faith in Islam, to speak up, justice and freedom in their areas of influence.
Affiliated Member Organisations include Mosques, local & regional Mosque Councils, Ullama & Shuyukh, campaign groups, women’s groups, young people groups, schools and educational organisations, social and welfare organisations and NGO’s.
Members make a contribution every year. The contribution also determines whether the organisation is entitled to send one, two or three delegates to meetings of the General Assembly which take place at least once a year with regional meetings when required.
